Great Need for Sound Doctrine and true Gospel preaching
There are many churches in the Pokhara area but there are none of our like faith. Most of the churches are Charismatic and Pentecostals. There are few “evangelicals”, but even they would be open to speaking tongues, miracles, and sign gifts. There is a great movement called “Sacchai” (meaning “correctness”) that started in Pokhara. This movement teaches that you can worship Jesus for healings but you can also continue in idolatry. This movement is growing fast all over Nepal!

Plant a Biblical Church
Need for a biblical church is great in Pokhara. Crown Nepal students can help with the church plant under the leadership of Kathmandu Baptist Church ‘Ebenezer’.

Start Bible Training Center for Sound Doctrine
In partnership with Crown Nepal, Bible Training can be started. Pokhara School of the Bible would be a great start.

Reach Pokhara and the Surrounding Areas
There are many surrounding villages that need the gospel. The roads have been made even to the remote villages for tourism. These roads can be the pathway for the gospel outreach!
